Company History

In 1976, Dipl.-Ing. Walter Schröder founded the HESCH Schröder GmbH as an small engineering bureau in Neustadt, near Hanover. Based on his market and customer focus, the company?s founder quickly recognized the enormous demand for electronic measuring and regulating instruments, as well as machine controllers. The development of the first products for mensuration and control technique in industrial thermal applications began. These products were soon complemented with customer-specific controllers and produced to the requirements of the customer. The fast growth of the company required more working space and in 1982, the company moved its seat to the present location at Boschstrasse 8, an address within the industrial area of Neustadt am Rübenberge.

Today, the HESCH Schröder GmbH presents itself to its partners and customers as an innovative, medium-sized enterprise, featuring a strong growth and many satisfied customers within the international market.

Our product portfolio comprises products and services in the following fields:

  • Field bus technology (displays with I/O functionality, I/O modules, operator interfaces / HMIs)
  • Customer-specific mensuration and control instruments, controllers and system solutions for heating technology, tempering, sewage works, wellness.
  • Measuring instruments for industrial filtration plants (filter and ventilation technologies)
  • Sensors for temperature, pressure, differential pressure, power, weighing, level, etc.
  • Digital displays, measuring transducers, isolating amplifiers, analog and digital control units

Emphasis of our activities is placed on the development and production of controllers to the individual requirements of the customers. Quality management:

Quality is one of the key components of our success and long-term customer satisfaction. Since 1995, quality management has been standard within our company. Since that time, we have been successfully certified in accordance with ISO 9001, as well as DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 11/2017.

  • EMC laboratory:
    We have a laboratory of our own to measure the electromagnetic compatibility. Thus, we are in a position to certify and test our developed products in accordance with national and international guidelines such as EN 61000-6-1 (resistance to jamming), for instance.
  • EX certification
    We have the possibility for EX certification in accordance with ATEX guidelines. The main feature here lies in filtration and ventilation technology in the dust EX area of zone 22.
  • UL approval
    We have been awarded certification by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). As a consequence, we are entitled to manufacture controllers for the North American market in accordance with the NEMA guidelines.
  • Type approval
    Development and production of safety-relevant controllers with type approval
